This might sound silly but in light of the development that poor Michelle Dockery’s Fiance, John Dineen, died at age 34 after battling cancer….it just makes me appreciate the love between Sam and Cait even more. I want to celebrate it even more because life is short and sometimes love isn’t enough to save someone.
John looked like a healthy lad and no one had any idea. You can take care of yourself and your health but sometimes life has other plans. So remember to have faith in love, even if it ends in loss. What a terrible hand to be dealt for Dockery, who carried on like a trooper last week promoting Downton in the USA without anyone having any idea what she was going through. Like I said, life is short, true life-altering love doesn’t find everyone and when it does it should be celebrated and supported.
Thoughts and prayers for Dockery. Love and faith in Sam and Cait.

Any recommendations now that OL has lost its glow for me and besides, it is Droughtlander? I’ve already watched Catastrophe, Orange Is The New Black, and am finishing up with Preacher (Graham McTavish is in it btw!). Poldark, Downton Abbey and Call the Midwife have also been tried. I find OL is a hard act to follow…

My sister flew into town yesterday, so that we could see the movie and spend a sister weekend together. The film was made of amazing!!! We had both read the book when it came out and thought it was a great adaptation. More importantly, we loved Sam Riley as Mr. Darcy and Lily James as Elizabeth Bennet!
